Crab Feed Pricing
Price is dependent on two variables. First, the daily wholesale and/or dock price of live crab. Prices can range from $2.25/lb to $5.95/lb depending on the time of the season and how many crabs are being caught. The earlier in the crab season, the lower the price.
"December is best when the supply of Dungeness crab is the highest and price the lowest. By late March crab supplies are dwindling and the wholesale price is rising.
The second variable is my cooking/preparation fee and that depends upon the number of people in the party. The larger the crab feed, the lower the price per pound.
